Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving inside sales within a branch. This will be done by taking customer orders and providing solutions to customers about new product ideas and revenue growth opportunities. The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in strengthening the customer relationship while providing an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Representative will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.

• Utilize best practices in sales to make outbound calls and handle inbound calls from customers to facilitate the sales order process
• Respond to customer inquiries and demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services
• Listen to, understand and provide needs-based sales solutions for our customers
• Work with branch management and the sales function to support customer orders and inquiries

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the food industry
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts
• Experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment that requires accuracy, multi-tasking and communicating in an efficient manner
• Demonstrated initiative, urgency, commitment, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, build consensus and facilitate problem-solving and collaboration in a matrix environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
